Frances Estelle Johnson

Frances Johnson, 53, passed away April 23, 2015, after a brief illness.  Born in Akron, Frances graduated from Akron North High School and earned her Masters Degree in Library Science from Kent State University in 1999.  Frances was the Circulation Services Manager at the Main Branch of the Lorain Public Library System, where she has worked since 2005.

Frances was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and crochet.  Most of all, Frances loved animals, and regularly helped animal welfare groups in Lorain.

Frances is survived by her parents, David and Bernette Johnson (Akron), her brother David (Columbus), an uncle, three aunts and fifteen cousins.  Frances is also survived by her many friends at the Lorain Library, particularly, Jodi Fulton, who helped Frances through her final months.
