My precious husband Francis D. Amodio passed into the arms of Jesus on March, 31, 2015.
He was born March 11, 1942 to Frank and Holly Amodio. Frank grew up in up state New York and was in the Army for four years. Later in his life he became a child of God. He became a changed man. He blessed many that he came in contact with. Frank was an usher at Grace Cathedral for 19 years. He considered that his main job on earth.
He leaves behind his wife who loved him so, Roxana and his six children he adored, daughters, Stephanie (Michael) Twist, Michelle (Scott) Durkin, and Corrine Mancuso; sons, Gregory and Cory Mancuso, Seth Amodio; grandchildren, Amanda, Emily, Michael, Jr., Holly Ann, Stephen, and Caleb; brother, John Amodio.
The Glory of young men is their strength, and the beauty of old men is the gray head. Proverbs 20:29.
Visitation will be 9 until 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Grace Cathedral Church Akron, 1055 Canton Rd., Akron.
Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Chris Machamer officiating.
Interment will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
