Frank Edward Kline

Frank E. Kline, 79, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away due to complications of cancer on August 20, 2022.

Born in Suffield, he was a 1961 graduate of Suffield High School and served in the National Guard from 1964-1970. Frank worked at Harry Miller Excavating Company, Perkins, and Ohio Transport, from which he retired over 10 years ago. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Cuyahoga Falls.

An avid car enthusiast, he could often be found at local car shows where he enjoyed sharing his love of Corvettes and other classic cars with others. Equally fond of Cleveland sports teams, Frank enjoyed cheering on the Cavs, Browns, and Indians, rarely missing a televised broadcast. Above all, though, Frank was a loving father, brother, and doting grandfather. He was treasured by family and friends, who considered him a kind, faithful, and dependable man. Frank will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Kline, and parents, Eva and Harry Kline.

He is survived by his daughter, Deirdre (Robert) Williams of Cuyahoga Falls; son, Christopher (Carrie) Kline; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jonah, and Josephine, of Pittsburgh, Pa; sister, Mary Frances Kline, brother, Kenneth Kline, both of Suffield; and brother- and sister-in-law, Steven and Bonnie Hutnik, of Hartville.

Calling hours will be 4:00 until 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Avenue (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am on Friday, August 26, 2022, at St. Joseph Church, 1761 Second Street in Cuyahoga Falls with Fr. Jared Orndorff officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Randolph.
