Frank A. Rocco

Frank A. Rocco, 79, passed away December 16, 2020. Born in Akron, he lived his entire life in Tallmadge.

Frank served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was an entrepreneur. He started several businesses including, Rocky's Skating Center, Rocco Plaza and Rocky's Custard. Running his businesses was his lifelong passion. He was an avid sports lover and enjoyed going to the casinos. He enjoyed precious time with his grandchildren and his maltese, Rocky Rose.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margaret Rocco; sister, Betty Jane; brothers, Tony and John.

Frank is survived by his life partner, Pamela DeVeau; daughter, Nicole (Scott) Doepker of Westfield Center; son, Dean (Jenny) Rocco of Stow; Pam's daughters, Rachel (John) Davis of Wadsworth, Michelle (Eric) Mesenger of Akron; grandchildren, Devon, Jordan and Andrew Doepker, Madeline, Isabella and Ethan Rocco, Sara, Lura, Nick, Spencer, Savanna; great grandchildren, Avery and Stella.

Private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
