Frank S. Sinopoli

Frank S. Sinopoli, 94, passed away October 7, 2018.

Born in San Vito, Italy, Frank had lived in the Akron area since 1948.  He retired in 1980 from Babcock and Wilcox with 30 years of service.  Frank was a member of St. Anthony Church.

He was preceded in death his parents, Salvatore and Rose Sinopoli; sister, Rose Sorrento and brother, Vito Sinopoli.

Frank is survived by his wife, Elisabetta; nephews, Dominic (Pasqualina) Sinopoli and Umberto (Maria) Sinopoli and many other nieces and nephews.

A special thanks for the love and help through the years to the Gironda and Hayes Families and Akron City Hospital Palliative Care Unit for all their care.

Visitation will be 1 until 4 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christina Burial 10 a.m. October 15, 2018 at St. Anthony Church, 83 Mosser St., Akron with Father Edward Burba officiating.

Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
