Gage Tyler Kulcsar

Gage Tyler Kulcsar, 12, passed away February 20, 2024. Born in Barberton and having lived in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life, Gage was a great young man, "a force of nature," as his mother once said, who left this world way too soon.

He was a smart and talented guy who was deeply loved and who lived a full life for someone so young. Music became a big part of his life when he started playing the clarinet, then the saxophone, in the Jazz Band at Roberts Middle School. Also, his dad introduced Gage to the guitar which he started collecting and soon became an obsession. Besides music, he showed artistic talent and a curious mind about any subject, always questioning the rules of this world with a sense of worldliness beyond his years.

Gage kept busy with Boy Scouts and 4-H, loved fishing, swimming, hiking, skateboarding, so he was quite the outdoorsman. His love of animals led him to reciting many fun facts about nature. For fun he would enjoy family Nerf Gun wars, and was even learning to cook for his family. There will never be anyone as unique as Gage Kulcsar, whose energy and lust for life filled our lives everyday, and no one will ever forget his infectious giggle and that devilish smile.

Gage is survived by his parents, Cory Edelen and Danielle Kulcsar; sister, Jaiden Dreher; brother, Jaxon Dreher; grandparents, Anthony Kulcsar, Vicki Ibbotson, and Jason (Jodi) Fortunato; great-grandparents Ronald (Debbie) Edelen, and Betty Kulcsar; aunts Anya and Rhea Kulcsar; and his pets, Khaleesi, Lacy, Uma, and Kiwi. Thanks to all our family and friends too numerous to mention for all their incredible outpouring of love and support.

A Celebration of life will be Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at The Center on the Lake, 2491 Canfield Road, Akron OH 44312.
