Gail Jean (Thompson) Nicodemo

Gail J. Nicodemo, 73, went home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2022.  Born in Akron, Ohio she lived most of her life in the Canton area.

Gail held many jobs, but retired from EMP as project manager, in 2001, to take care of the grandkids.  She will be remembered for her love of projects, cooking, reading, the ocean, family and her big smile. GranGail, as she was known to so many, had a spirit that will be remembered and cherished by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Thompson.

Gail is survived by her husband of 54 years, Vic, son Michael; daughters, Dena (Chris) Scrimo, and Martina (Shannon) Collins, 7 grandkids; Olivia, Carson, Lenna, Katie, Wesley, Allie and Tyler; her brother, 3 sisters and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Private services were held at the convenience of the family and a mass will be held at a later date.

Donations in Gail's name can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
