Garnet M. Patrick

Garnet M. Patrick, born January 5, 1929, 86, went home to be with the Lord October 3, 2015.

Born in Akron, Garnet lived in Tallmadge since 1959. She was a member of Tallmadge United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was past president of Northeast Neighbors, and Northeast Garden Club, she was also a Girl Scout leader.  Garnet was an avid bowler, and enjoyed golf. Family was her priority.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C.

Garnet is survived by her daughters, Christine Schechter, Cheri (Butch) Ward, and Cathy (Mike) Victor; son, Michael Patrick; grandchildren, Jennifer (Dave) Barton, Jeffrey (Jessica) Schechter, Justin Seeker, Sarah (Mike), Beth, Jeniffer, and Joshua Bailey, Kelly (Gabe) Cotrufo, Israel (Chelsea) Victor, Daniel Victor and April (Tim) Springirth; great grandchildren, Isabella, Sofia, Gabriel, Rex, Naomi, Presley, Lily, Hannah, Olivia, Emma, Milania,  and Dante; sisters, Grace Forrester, and Wilma Moore.

Visitation will be 5 until 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

A Memorial Service will be held 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
