Gay Hensley

Gay Hensley, 77, went to be with The Lord, June 29, 2016.  Born in Cawood, Kentucky, she lived most of her life in the Akron area.

Gay was a bartender at the Hilton in Fairlawn for 39 years, enjoyed gardening, flowers and traveling to Amish Country.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ada McCartney; son, Neal Coontz; daughter in law, Jeri Hensley; son in law Dave Fagen.

Gay is survived by her daughters, Pamela (Ed) Sanek of Tallmadge, Ramona (Joe) Caley of Tallmadge, Debby Fagen of Massillon; grandchildren, Scott and Amanda Sanek, Martie Wood, Karrie Myers, Michelle Gabriel, Rick Lamp; many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; brother, Stan Hensley of Green; several nieces and one nephew.

Visitation will be 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. following visitation at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Case officiating.

Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
