Gene Enlow

Gene Enlow was called home to his heavenly father on July 8, 2023, leaving behind his wife, Janice; son, Kenny (Barb) Enlow; daughter, Sandy (Dan) Strebler; three grandchildren; three great children; (Janice's daughters) Cynthia Hartline, Kelly Stallard, Kim (Tom) Stock and many family members.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Enlow; son, Jeff Enlow; sisters, Virginia Glotfelty and Eileen DeWitt; brothers, Robert, Peter and Melvin Enlow.

Born in Akron, Gene lived in Maryland during his young years, he came back to Ohio where he was employed with the City of Akron until he retired.

Gene was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He was an avid golfer, and if someone asked about him, he would say just tell them I have gone golfing.

Visitation will be 12 until 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Service to follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Clyde Votaw officiating,

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Western Reserve Hospice.
