George William Mckee

George William McKee, 88, passed away May 24, 2018.

Born in Akron on January 28, 1930 and he had lived in Tallmadge since 1961 and was a member of High Street Christian Church. He was a member of the Pioneers, Good Neighbors and Scottish Rite, Valley of Akron 32nd Degree Mason

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice; daughter, Susan Diane McKee;

George is survived by his daughter, Gail Ann (Alan) Whestine of San Diego, California and Laura Jean Kumse of Akron; son, Gary William McKee of Tallmadge; sisters, Margaret Monro of Cuyahoga Falls, Florence Clapper of Stow; grandchildren, Kevin, Gregory, Diana, Lindsay, Chelsea, Sara,; and great granddaughters, Ella and Charlotte.

Funeral service be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at the funeral home where a Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
