Gleason Jacobs

Gleason Jacobs, 84, passed away September 22, 2018.

Born in Chesterland, Ohio, Gleason (Jake) had lived and raised his family in Cuyahoga Falls.  He retired in 1997 from Lincoln Electric with 31 years of service. He loved the outdoors, fishing, holidays, playing the game solitaire and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his son, George Jacobs; parents Gleason and Florence Jacobs.

Gleason is survived by his wife, Joan; daughters, Mary (Jerry) Reid, Christine (Phil Gallo) Jacobs, Laura (Hank) Meyer, Theresa (Tim Moyer) Jacobs, Deborah (Bill) Lesh, and Kathy (Pete) Borbely; sons, Phillip (Leann) Jacobs, Edward Jacobs, and Steven (Krystle) Jacobs; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Janet (Allan) McCaulley, and Elizabeth Griffith; and three brothers in law, George Hengle, Father John Hengle, and Robert J. Hengle.

Visitation will be 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
