Glenna E. Riddle, 90, passed away August 16, 2015.
Born in Smithfield, Ohio, Glenna had lived in the Tallmadge/Randolph areas for most of her life. She was a 1943 Graduate of Wayne High School in Bloomingdale, Ohio. Glenna was a member of Hampe Memorial Wesleyan Methodist Church of Tallmadge and was secretary/treasurer of the Women's Missionary Society. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald S. Shamblen and James R. Riddle; sisters, Leona M. Schaefer and Virginia I. Dear.
Glenna is survived by her; daughters, Sheryl (Daryl) Myers of Tallmadge and Mickey Dillard of Lancaster; sons, Raymond K. (Cheryl) Shamblen of Atwater and Walter Dillard of Lancaster; grandchildren, Joshua Woolls, Angela and Cody Shamblen, Nakia and Jesse Dillard, and Kathy (Dave)Walter, Becky and Cherilyn Myers; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth L. Hanlin of Bloomingdale,, Valerie L. Hahn of Williamsport, PA, Elva A. Plantz, Hannah J. Rayl, and Joyce M. Adams all of Hartville; brothers, Marvin E. (Mary) Rayl of Tallmadge, Paul T. (Mary Lou) Rayl of E. Springfield, and Curtis A. (Betty) Rayl of Bolivia, North Carolina; special nephew, Michael (Carol) Hanlin and their son, Brian, and many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the funeral home with Rev. Raymond Jones officiating.
Interment will be at Bloomingdale Cemetery in Bloomingdale, Ohio
