Remembering Gloria Mulhollen

Gloria J. Mulhollen, 93, entered the gates of Heaven on May 18, 2026. She was born on August 11, 1932, in Akron, Ohio, to Earl and Rebecca Tipton.

Gloria spent her entire life in Akron and shared a beautiful 72-year marriage with the love of her life, Lowell. Their love story was one of unwavering devotion, partnership, and deep affection. Lowell adored Gloria, and she was truly the light of his life. When Lowell passed away on Christmas Eve in 2023, Gloria missed him deeply. Though her heart was broken without him, the love they shared remained constant and enduring.

She was a graduate of Garfield High School and a devoted member of the Tallmadge United Methodist Church.

Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lowell; her parents; her sisters, Catherine and Janice; and her half-sister, Sheri.

She is survived by her sons, Gregory (Dee) and David (Diane); her grandchildren, Lindsay (Brian), Mark (Lexi), Matthew, Kaylee (David); and her great-grandchild, Milo.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Summa Home Hospice team for the compassionate and excellent care they provided.

Visitation will be Friday, May 29, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. Tallmadge, OH.

Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Scott Low officiating.

Interment will follow at Tallmadge Cemetery.
