Gordon Gray Moyers

Gordon Gray Moyers, 79 of Akron, OH passed away peacefully March 13, 2015 at home surrounded by his family.

Gordon was born October 20, 1935 to Lonnie and Arabella Moyers and was the youngest of 8 children who preceded him in death. Gordon lived in the Tallmadge area most of his life and retired from the East Ohio Gas Co.  He enjoyed yard work and gardening, was a die-hard Cleveland sports fan.  Gordon loved everything golf.

He is survived and will be missed by his loving wife, Carol (Rorabaugh); children, Laura Hartman, Terry (Connie) Moyers and Kimberly (Mike) DiAntonio; grandchildren Adam (Amanda) Hartman, Nicole Hartman, Angela (John) Callaway, Tony (Erica) Moyers, Steve DiAntonio (Amanda Carr) Stacey (Josh) Adams; great-grandchildren Dante Booker, Isabella, Jackson and Jameson Callaway, Travis and Trenton Moyers, Beckett Adams.

Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave., (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Cindy Peel officiating.

Interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Park.
