Gregory "Greg" R. Bartolon, 58, passed away November 6, 2015. He was born in Akron and lived all of his life in Cuyahoga Falls.

Greg was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School class of 1975. Following graduation Greg served his country for three years in the U.S. Army. After marrying his wife, Laureen he continued his career as a parts manager with Valley Freightliner. Greg was a special man with many qualities. He was loyal, strong, kind, humble, ornery, happy and friendly. Above all, Greg was a loving and devoted husband and father. He will always remain in our hearts and will forever soar like an Eagle.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard "Dick" Bartolon. Greg is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Laureen; son, Ryan Bartolon; daughter, Rachel Bartolon; family dog, Bella; mother, Dolores "Dee" Bartolon; sisters, Debbie (Bob) Hein and Tami (Jeff) Dubasak; nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

Memorial calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, with a Memorial Service following, officiated by Deacon John Hirnikle at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
