We mourn the loss of Helen Berenyi who went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2014 after a courageous battle with illness.She was a wonderful woman, wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Steve Berenyi; her loving children, George (Mary) Berenyi, Veronica (John) Finch, Mary (Richard) Pace, Teresa (Fred) Steward and Joseph (Sonya) Berenyi; as well as 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers and one sister.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, October 19 at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron. Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, with Fr. Mike Matusz officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her name to Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Ave., Tallmadge, OH 44278.
