Helen M Geig

Helen M. Geig, 86, passed away July 11, 2016. Born in Akron, she lived most of her life in Tallmadge.

Helen was retired from Household Appliance and was a member of Our Lady of Victory where she was active in the Women's Guild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Bena Flanagan; sisters, Eileen Snyder, Kathleen and Jim McFarland; brothers, Frank and Ray Flanagan; sister, Joan Ritty; sister in law, Clara Flanagan; brother in law, Paul Ritty.

Helen is survived by her husband of 55 years, Frank; daughter, Jeanne (Jerry) Wallis of Munroe Falls; sons, Stephen (Deborah) Barry of Cuyahoga Falls, Thomas (Lori) Geig of Copley; sister, Rosemary (Anthony) DiMaggio of Akron; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial mass will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Our Lady of Victory, 73North Ave., Taalmadge with Rev. Fr. John Hengle officiating.

There will be no calling hours.

Private burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio at a later date.
