Helen C. Rossi (Mancini) Helen C. Rossi (Mancini), 93, of Akron passed away peacefully September 11, 2015. She was born in Akron, Ohio November 12, 1921, and was a graduate of North High School (June 1939), and a graduate of Actual Business College. She resided in Cuyahoga Falls until 1984, at which time she moved to Akron, Ohio, where she resided until her death. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church; St. Joseph's Altar and Rosary Society, and St. Joseph's Mother of Consolation Funeral Choir. She was a member of the Unione Abbruzzese Women's Auxiliary. She retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in May 1986, after 30 years of service. She was a secretary for the Industrial Products Division all her years at Goodyear. She was a member of the Goodyear 25 Year Club. She taught at Hammel-Actual Business College for 19 years. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was all she lived for. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Flora Mancini; brother, Albert Mancini and sister-in-law Theresa; brother, Arthur Mancini and sister-in-law Lena; brother-in-law, Joseph Caiola and her uncle Alex Mancini. Her memory will be cherished by her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria (Phillip) Russo; grandchildren, David Russo, Lori (John) Barbarich; great-grandchildren, Katherine Marie Kobbs and Gabrielle Nicole Kobbs; and sister, Norma Caiola; many nieces and nephews, dear relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1761 Second Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 Monday, September 14, 2015 at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main Street, Akron, Ohio. Special thanks to Dr. Joseph Burick and the nurses and staff 4 West at Akron City Summa Hospital.
