Helen Marie (Mihaly) Grochowski On May 3rd 2017, Heaven gained a new Angel. Helen was born on July 5, 1927 to Peter and Betty Mihaly. She was the firstborn of seven children, with Agnes (Gorbach), MaryJane (Estes), Peter, Gregory, Vera (Horne) and Robert following. She was married to John Grochowski from 1953, until his death in 2007. Together they had three daughters, Cathy (Lou) Torcasio, Patty Mihaly, and Susan (Bill) Cotter. Helen was further blessed with four grandchildren, Heather (Jeremy) Nagel-Jenkins, Michael (Corine) Rueschman, Erik (Veronica Ciaccia) Nagel and Jack (Lyndsay) Adams, who affectionately referred to her as Mamoo. She has one great-grandchild, her "little boy" Elias Jenkins, with whom she shared a special bond that will last throughout eternity. From Heaven above, Helen will see her future great grandchild from Michael and Corine. She also cherished her little dog, Baboosh. Helen was born in Akron, and worked at, of several, Goodrich, Akron North High School (Library "Mrs. G"), and the Akron Beacon Journal. She had a love of travelling, spanning California to Russia. There are no calling hours. Private services and burial at a later date. A special thank you to the staff that cared for her at the Gardens of Western Reserve.
