Helen J. Swinehart

Helen J. Swinehart, 87, went to be with the Lord Jesus on February 28, 2015.

Born in Akron, Ohio, Helen lived in Tallmadge since 1968. She was employed as a clerk at M. O'Neil Company retiring in 1989 and was a member of The Summit Wesleyan Church where she served many years in the nursery.  Helen cherished her time with her family.

Helen is survived by her husband of 61 years, John T. "Jack" Swinehart; sons, John (Cindi) Swinehart, Jr. of Munroe Falls and David Swinehart of Australia; sisters, Boots (Don) VanBuskirk of Cuyahoga Falls, Doris (Jim) Bovard of Tallmadge, Jan Haslett of Tallmadge, Barbara (Howard) Murray, and Carol (Bill) Hibbs of Tallmadge; brother Ernie Giles of Mogadore; grandchildren, Ryan, Scott, Carolyn, Melissa and Brandon.

Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the DONOVAN FUNERAL HOME, 17 SOUTHWEST AVENUE (On the Historical Tallmadge Circle) and one hour before the service at the church.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015 at The Summit Wesleyan Church, 2303 South Main Street, Akron with Pastor Dan Conkey and Pastor Russ Heiser officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
