Howard R. Murray

Howard R. Murray, 86, of Tallmadge, Ohio went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Tallmadge Health and Rehab Center. Howard was a faithful man who loved the Lord, his family and the church community.

Born May 12, 1935, in Paris Township, Ohio, Howard grew up in Ravenna, Ohio. Howard proudly served our country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from General Tire and Rubber Company after 28 years of service. He was a member of the Southeast Church of the Nazarene where he served in a variety of positions. Howard was passionate about his faith and continuously read and studied God's Word.

Howard will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Barbara K. (Giles) of 48 years; three stepdaughters: Cindy (Eddie) Miller of Zanesville, Cathy (J.) Mason of Louisville and Connie Weeks of Akron, Ohio; six grandchildren, Amy (Mitch) Williams, Sara Garrison, Jacob (Kendra) Miller, Melinda (Ray) Ferguson, Marshall (Michelle) Mason, Denielle Weeks; seven great grandchildren. He's also survived by a number of nieces and nephews including a special niece, Peggy Johnson.

Visitation will be 1 until 3 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2021, at Southeast Church of The Nazarene, 771 Dunbar Road, Tallmadge.

Funeral Service will be immediately following at 3 p.m. at the church with Howard's grandson, Pastor Marshall Mason officiating.

Interment will be at Ohio Wester Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
