Iona Auria
September 6, 1934 — November 5, 2018
Iona Auria, 84, passed away November 5, 2018. Born in Rochester, NY, she had lived in Tallmadge on Fawnwood Dr. since 1969.
Iona retired from Robinson Memorial Hospital as a Nursing recruiter and had also worked as a Director of Nursing at Cooper Nursing Home. She was a former member of the County Board of Mental Health. Iona made her own clothing and enjoyed quilting and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; son, Michael; parents Joseph and Pauline Mustaca; brother, Guido Mustaca.
Iona is survived by her sons, Carl Auria of Tallmadge, Paul (Debra) Auria of California; grandchildren, Michael and Kelsey.
Private graveside service will be at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
