Irmina D. Porro

Irmina D Porro, 93, passed away August 6, 2026. She was born in Camaguey, Cuba and came to the US in 1960 after being forced to flee from Cuba in 1959, with her parents and sister, when Fidel Castro assumed military and political power as Cuba's prime minister.

Irmina retired as a manicurist at Shear TLC. She was a member of Holy Family Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents., Carlos and Eugenia Porro; sister, Eugenia (Jorge) Ruiz.

Irmina is survived by her niece, Gina (Michael) Albright; cousins, Maggie and Dr. Braulio Cuesta; and many close friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) with Rev. Felix Silagan officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
