Jack G Haemmerlin

Jack G. Haemmerlin, 88, passed away January 22, 2017. Born in Akron,  he lived most of his life in California. He was a loving husband, father and brother.

Jack served in the U.S. Army and worked as a Video Engineer with the National Broadcasting Company. He free lanced for Fox Sports Network, working the Superbowls, Olympics and received four Emmy's for his technical work for major television networks. Jack was a 1947 graduate of Garfield High School, attended Akron University and Capital Radio Engineering Institute in Washington D.C.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy; second wife, Deryl; daughters, Penny, Pam; parents, John and Gertrude Haemmerlin.

Jack is survived by his daughter, Robin Haemmerlin; sister, Pat (Jim) Burbick of Tallmadge.

A Memorial Service will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls 1500 State Road, Cuyahoga Falls with Rev Isaac Van Epps officiating.

Interment will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
