Jack Robinson Sturdivant

February 5, 1945 — September 30, 2015

Jack Robinson Sturdivant Kallmyer, 70, died in his sleep on the morning of September 30th in his brother's home in Massillon.

After a childhood and youth in Tallmadge, Jack went into a lifelong career of service to others as Pastor, Counselor, Therapist, and advocate for others; even when it might not have been wise.  He spent much of his career in Virginia and Alabama, coming home to Ohio when needed as his parents aged and died.

Jack dealt with his own declining health with courage, acceptance, and grace; all a mark of his character.

Preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Leo and Wilma Kallmyer.

Jack is survived by his twin brother, James.

Jack's final year was a brightened by the care and concern of family and friend, Daniel Rowley, and good neighbor Mary Miller and aide Trisha Frye.

There will be no services.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
