Jacqueline M. (Seed) Craig

Jacqueline M. Craig, 80, passed away October 21, 2017.  Born in Akron, she was a life resident of Tallmadge.

Jackie was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church and a graduate of St. Vincent's. She enjoyed teaching at St. Matthews and volunteering at Weaver School and Workshop, Summit County Board of DD, The Arc Board, and the Blick Clinic.  She loved to feed her family, particularly her grandchildren, and was very generous, loving, insightful and intuitive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Robert and Monica Seed; sister, Sandra Garey and brother Robert Seed.

Jackie is survived by her sons, Thomas (Terri) Craig of Tallmadge, Dennis (Roseanne) Craig of Akron, Dan Craig of Austin Texas, Jerry (Joyce) Craig of Brimfield, Robert (Marsha) Craig Jr. of Perry, Joseph Craig of Silver Lake, Mark (Kristen) Craig of Elyria; sister, Patricia (Lou) Giovanelli of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters in law, Dianna Seed of Jackson, Mary Ellen Coolman of Wadsworth, Marjory (Josef) Townsell of Clinton, IHM Sister Evelyn Craig of Raleigh, N.C.; 22 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Donovan Funeral Home 17 Southwest Ave.

Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 am on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Ave, Tallmadge with Rev. Michael Matusz officiating.

Interment will be afterwards at 1:45 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ardmore Foundation, 981 E Market St, Akron Oh 44305.
