James L Brewer, Jr

James L. Brewer, Jr., 87, passed away November 23, 2015.

Born in Akron, Jim had lived in Brimfield for 54 years.

Jim retired in 1989 from Tangiers where he was a bar manager. He attended Tallmadge Lutheran Church. He was an avid gardener, Browns football fan, a golfer and owned race horses.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah.

Jim is survived by his wife Betty of 61 years; daughters, Diane (Paul) LeVan of Brimfield, Cindy (Ralph) Phipps of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Mindy, Travis, Alex, Matthew, Joe, Rachel; and great grandchild, Logan.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Tallmadge Lutheran Church, 759 East Avenue, Tallmadge with Pastor Andy Alberts officiating.
