James L. Clem, Jr.

James L. Clem, Jr., 53, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016.

Born in Bedford, Ohio, James had lived in Tallmadge for most of his life and graduated from Tallmadge High School in 1981. His favorite hobby was working on cars. Jimmy was a kind and gentle soul and was always willing to help others.  His generosity of spirit and compassionate disposition will be missed greatly by his family.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard W. Clem.

James is survived by his mother, Barbara L. Johnson of Akron; father, James L. (Regina) Clem, Sr. of Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters, Deborah (Sanford) Rich of Darien, CT, Diane Anderson; and sister in law, Debbie Clem both of Tallmadge; nieces and nephews, Sandy (Kimberly), Annie, Aimee and Jamie Rich, Amanda (Andrew) DeGasperi, Shannon Cutlip, Brandon Anderson, Alexis, Evan & Alyssa Clem; 4 great nieces and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) with Rev. Scott Baker officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
