James Robert Dzatko, 56, passed away February 3, 2024 at his home in Alliance, Ohio. Born February 4, 1967 in Akron Ohio to Mike R. Dzatko and Elizabeth J. (Brown) Dzatko. He was a 1985 graduate of Waterloo High School in Atwater, Ohio. James was a long time manager of Giant Eagle in Rootstown, Ohio.
He was an outstanding artist winning Best In Show numerous times at the Portage County Fair. For those who remember the Gypsy Wagon restaurant on St Rt 44 in Randolph, Ohio He was the artist whose beautiful mural graced its side.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by brother Michael Richard Dzatko. He is survived by his two sisters, Tammy L. Dzatko of Hopedale, Ohio, Christine (David) Bixler of Salineville, Nephews Joseph Bixler of Salineville, Ohio
Rodney Ripley of Weirton, WV and a niece Sarah Ripley of Vancouver, WA. He will also be missed by those who were his second family Donald & Sarah (Justin) Vanaman and Cheryl (John) Taylor, Curtis (Gwendolyn) Taylor, Zachary (Rachel) Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Cathy (Donald) Litsinger, Mark (Jessica) Litsinger, Meagan (Joe) White, David (Bree) Litsinger, Donald (Debra) Vanaman all of Rootstown, Ohio.
Family and friend are encouraged to attend Friday, March 22, 2024 at 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
