James Emerson Mccullough

James Emerson McCullough,86, passed away March 15, 2025 in Richland, Washington. Born March 10, 1939 to Jay and Opal McCullough in North Lawrence, Ohio.

James proudly served in Vietnam as a medic and retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer, Journalist. He enjoyed serving God & reading the Bible daily, acting, baseball and watching western movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry McCullough; sisters Shirley Mishler and Linda Walton; brother-in-law, Wayne Mishler and nephew, Reverend Tim Mishler all of Massillon, Ohio.

James is survived by his daughter, Katherine (McCullough) Rasmussen and husband, Matthew Rasmussen; son, Joshua James McCullough and wife Nicole along with 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by brother, Calvin and sister-in-law, Carole McCullough.

James has been laid to rest at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
