IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Janet Theresa
(Beck) Rascob
February 4, 1937 – November 22, 2024
Janet Theresa Rascob (Beck), born February 4, 1937, was taken by the Lord on November 22, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Janet was a devoted wife, aunt, sister, cousin, and best friend of many. Family was always a priority to Janet, always in-the-know about what was going on with all the cousins no matter how close or far away they were. She devoted her career to Goodyear Aerospace as a contract specialist. After retiring, Janet spent most of her time doing what she loved- spending time with her beloved family and friends. She was an avid bowler and golfer into her 70's, even teaching her nieces how to golf once they were in college. Janet cherished her time with her friends whether it be talking on the phone, going to lunch, or going on a walk at the Rec Center. She was especially close with and proud of her great nieces (Naomi and Lennon) and nephew (Cole) in which every moment spent with them she cherished and looked forward too.
Janet was proud of her Irish heritage and was an active member of the Polish-American Club. She was also an active and proud member of Blessed Trinity Parish. Janet will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Janet is preceded in death by her husband John "Jack" Rascob, father, Paul Beck, mother, Ruth Murphy (Beck), Stepfather, Joseph Murphy, brother, Paul Beck, sister, Patricia Kirn (Beck) and brother-in-law, David Deibel.
Janet is survived by her sister, Delphine Deibel (Beck), brother, Michael Beck (Jean), and brother in law, Ted Kirn. Niece's and nephews Krista Yoho (Daniel), Amanda Ridge (Tyler), Sarah Robinson (Mike), Joseph Beck (Rebecca), Brian Beck (Molly), Paul Beck, Karyn Newman (John), Yvonne Shields (Daniel), David Deibel (Stacy), Godson and nephew, Rick Noland and many other great and great great nieces and nephews.
Viewing and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Trinity Parish, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave, Akron, OH 44310 on Saturday, November 30 at 9:00AM -10:00AM followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Janet wishes contributions to be made to Blessed Trinity Parish or St. Vincent - St. Mary High School.
