Janet A. Krueger (Bye), age 80, of Akron, passed away on Saturday April 22, 2017. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, Jan lived on North Hill since 1960.  She loved the hill and her neighbors. For years Jan worked with the City of Akron running the Linden Ave Block Watch.   She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School, working for Akron Paving and retiring from Michelin.  Jan was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Cuyahoga Falls, she loved to read and spend time with her family.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mary Bye, her husband, Gary, siblings, Richard and Betty Bye. Loving mother of Jorjan Siegenthaler, Lori (Dan) Broz and Thorajean (Mike) Runion, grandmother of Zachary (Brei) Runion, Kassie (Dan) Moyer, Brandi, Scot Siegenthaler and Dylan Runion, great grandmother of Hawkins Moyer.  Jan is also survived by her dear brothers Bob (Nancy) Bye and Bill Bye, and many nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St. Akron.  Graveside service will be at 11 am Friday at Oakwood Cemetery.
