Janet Elaine Mencer

Janet Elaine Mencer, 80, passed away February 27, 2023. Born in Akron, she lived most of her life in Hartville.

She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Church in Randolph. Janet retired from Hartville Veterinary Clinic. She was an avid College Football Fan and loved her Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Janet's passion was gardening and bird watching.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David, parents, Andrew and Irene Ranostaj.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Kim (Pat) Mencer and Jennifer (Tom) Hugill; son, David (Shelly) Mencer; sisters, Andrea Spaugy and Denise Cook; 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Private services will be held.

Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
