Janet (Botimer) Scoville

Janet Scoville, 90, passed away March 31, 2016. Born in Akron, she lived most of her life in the Cuyahoga Falls area.

Janet was a Secretary with 20 years of service with Goodyear Research and a member of First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, where she was a member of the choir. She was a member of OES, Cuyahoga Falls Travel Club and the Summit County Parkinson's Support Group.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Scoville; and grandsons, Jeremy and Ryan.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Janice (Curt) Carlton of Cuyahoga Falls, Karen (Richard) Thomason of Tallmadge, Sue (Tony) Abrusci of Cuyahoga Falls; sister, Eleanor Hall of Copley; sister in law, Barbara Botimer of Copley; grandchildren, Hollie (Sean) Lazor, Dale (Christa) Carlton, Melanie Zaidman, Jamie (Ruthie) Abrusci; and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2016 at First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, 85 Heritage Drive, Tallmadge with Rev. Dr. John Schluep and Rev. Sarah Courtney officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.

Interment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery.
