Heaven has gained another Angel, Janice L. Beresh Jones Doepker, 84, passed away December 7, 2024.
She was a lifelong resident of Tallmadge, Ohio. Janice was born April 30, 1940 to parents, Orva L. (Cox) and Louie E. Beresh. She was a graduate of Tallmadge High School (1958) and the Akron Institute of Medical Assistance. Jan also retired from the Akron Automobile Club (Aug 1985- June 30, 2011) and also worked for Burch Directory, W.T. Grant Co., and Dr. Veronika Adams. She was a member of High Street Christian Church (1956).
Jan enjoyed camping, vacations and cruises with Charles, children, grandchildren, and great grandchild, Xavier. Spending quality time with her families were her number one goal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J.W. Jones; parents, Orva L. and Louie E. Beresh; sister, Rosaline M. Beresh; and brothers, L. Earnest Beresh, Andrew G. Beresh, and Dennis Paul Beresh; and husband of 49 years, Charles E. Doepker.
Jan is survived by her son, Michael T. Jones; daughters, Renee' Jones (Tom) Levy. Kimberly Jones (Arlie) Davis, Tina; grandchildren, Cynthia McClellan Miller, Adam Michael Jones, Virginia Doepker and Dylan Doepker-Geffken; great grandchildren, Xavier Aries Doepker, Charli Grace Doepker; brother, Richard (Patricia) Beresh; sisters in law, Diane Beresh, Charlotte Stock.
Visitation will be 12:00 until 1:30 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2024 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO BOX 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929 or any Autism group of your choice.
