Janice Lea (Carper) Davis

Janice Lea Davis (Carper), 72, passed away on November 5, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer with her family by her side.

Jan was born in Akron, Ohio, on March 12, 1950.  She graduated from East High School in 1968.  She was loved by her friends and family and was preceded in death by her husband, Gary, and her parents, Fred and Cleo Carper.  Jan was an active member of East Market Church of God and loved serving others.  She is survived by her children David (Erica) Akin, Carie (Justin) Murphy, and Mandy (Brandon) Raley; by her siblings Judy Brumbaugh, Cheryl Snyder, and Jeffry (MaryAnne) Carper; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Service will follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jake Nelson and Pastor Rick Fuson officiating.

Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks people to make donations to American Cancer Society.
