Janie (Brewer) Stewart

"Retired musician Janie E Stewart (Brewer)'s songs and laughter brought joy to all those who knew her. She was a loving mother, sister, wife, and friend who sadly left this world on June 11th, 2024, at age 85. She was preceded in death by her siblings Velma, Mildred (Dinky), Frank (William Frank), Martha, and Jeanette. She is survived by her daughter Carla (CJ), son-in-law Chuck, and grandchildren Savannah Wasson, Aria Bailey (Hurt), Parker Bailey, and Sam Wasson. She was born in 1939 to Otis Aubline Chandler and William Elwood Brewer. Janie's lifelong passions were singing, enjoying country music, cooking delicious food, reading as many novels as she could get her hands on, and spending time with her family. Her warm presence and infectious smile will be missed by those whose lives she graced."
