Jean H. Dewitt

Jean H. DeWitt, 88, passed away March 4, 2018.

Born in Sandusky, Ohio Jean had lived in Tallmadge since 1970.  She graduated from Sandusky High School and received a BA degree in Secondary Education from Heidelberg College. Jean was a member of First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, Tallmadge PrimeTimers and Tallmadge AARP.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Richard H. DeWitt.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Debra DeWitt of Houston, Texas; son, Douglas (Jean) DeWitt of Springboro, Ohio; grandchildren, Kristin and Michael.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2018 at First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, 85 Heritage Dr., Tallmadge, OH 44278.

Funeral Service to follow at 1 p.m. at the church with Rev. Neal Sandler officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Congregational Church of Tallmadge.
