Jean Barber Williams

Jean Williams, 90, passed away May 10, 2017 from Alzheimer's.

She was born in Akron, on November 22nd 1926.

Jean lived in Tallmadge for 50 years, and Cuyahoga Falls for 40 years.

Jean was a waitress in many local restaurants including Tangiers for 40 years.

She worked with the Gennesaret soup kitchen and food bank in Akron for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Williams; parents, Anna and Frank Barber; bothers and sisters, Pat, Sadie, Viola, Ben, Float, and Frank.Jean is survived by her daughter, Freda DeCerbo; grandson, Anthony DeCerbo; great grandson, Kahlil DeCerbo; sister in law, Margaret Barber; loving nieces and nephews, Debbie Alsop, Frank and Nancy Barber, Billy and Ellen Barber, Ronnie and Grace Barber; many other great nieces nephews and cousins in the Barber family.

A Private burial May 15th, 2017.

Memorial Mass will be June 6, 2017 Holy Family Catholic Church, Stow Ohio 11a.m, with a luncheon following.
