Jeanne Louise (Atwood) Sexton

Jeanne Louise Sexton, 73, passed away on October 15, 2017.  Born in Akron, she has lived in Mogadore for 44 years.

Jeanne retired after 29 years as a Domestic Relations Secretary for the Summit County Court House.  She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, the Mogadore Methodist Women's Circle, Silver Sneakers of Tallmadge Rec Center, the Mogadore Library Book Club, and the Tallmadge Alumni Association.

Jeanne loved life.  She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events and school activities.  She loved to walk her dog, Mollie, all over Mogadore.  Jeanne loved to read and do crossword puzzles.  Most of all, she loved to entertain people and share in laughter and friendship.  She will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Harriet Atwood.

Jeanne survived by her husband, Gary; daughter Heather (Bill) Pincoe of Streetsboro; step-daugher Saraiya (David) Landham of Akron; grandchildren Abigail, Jack and Mason; brothers Wally (Donna) Atwood of Tallmadge and Milton Atwood of Green; several nieces and nephews, and her dog, Mollie.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Avenue (off of the historic Tallmadge Circle) and one hour prior to the day of the service.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor William Andrick officiating.

Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.
