Jim E Sitko

James E. Sitko went into the loving arms of his Savior December 20, 2018 at the age of 75.  He was born in Akron, Ohio to Rudolf and Mary Sitko.

He is survived by his wife Winnie of 51 years; his daughter, Mary Beth son in law Bryan and his grandson Alex all of whom he adored.

Jim was employed as an Industrial Salesman for the Hardware Supply, Cummingham Supply, Pattison Supply, and finally W.W. Granger where he retired with 30 years of service.  After retirement, he worked for a short period of time at Bierce's Hardware in Tallmadge and especially enjoyed his time as a starter at Firestone Country Club along with his cousin, Dave.  Jim loved the game of golf.  He was a member of Tallmadge United Methodist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the American Legion.  Jim was past president of the Tallmadge Jaycees, a member of the Tallmadge Lion's and Rotary Clubs.  He was grateful for the many friendships he encountered in his journey on this earth.

Friends and family may attend a celebration of Jim's life 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) with Rev. Scott Low and Pastor Barry French officiating.

Calling hours will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
