Joan Carol Zadai

Joan Carol Zadai, 85, passed away March 5, 2023. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she was a Tallmadge resident of 59 years.

Joan was a member of the Tallmadge Garden Club and was a foster mom to many children. She enjoyed music, birdwatching, traveling and hiking in the Summit County Hiking Spree.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Letha Ferguson; brother, Wesley Cromley.

Joan is survived by her husband of 68 years, Martin; children, Rick (Shiela) Zadai, Tamra (Mark) Bertram, Mark (Kathy Waldron) Zadai; brother, Gary Cromley; grandchildren, Sheena (Jeremy Tawney) Zadai, Nichole (Jason) Indermuhle, Kurt (Megan) Olesen, Dustin (Bethany) Zadai, Kara Bertram, Taylor Zadai; and four great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the Inn at Beldon Village for their care and support.

Visitation will be 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historical Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Case officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Circle at a later date.
