Together Again On June 10, 2017, Joann A. Holmes, 89, passed into the arms of our Lord after a short illness. Greeted at the gates by her loving husband, Richard Lee; her son, Gregory R. Holmes; her parents, Mary (Ritchie) and Harold Newcomb; and her brother, William. Joann will be deeply missed by the family she was devoted to. Daughters, Diana (Robert) Trocchio and Debbie Laughlin; son, Jeffrey L. Holmes; granddaughters, Sarah Trocchio, Dana Trocchio, Christy (Chris) Poole, Kelly (Nadeem) Javeed; grandson, William Laughlin; nine great grandchildren; and her kitty, Mandy, were with her till the end. Joann retired from Akron General Hospital. She enjoyed hundreds of books, needlework, gardening, and holidays. She loved to shop, travel, and spend time with friends and family. God took her home, but in our hearts she liveth still and forevermore. A Graveside Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crown Hill Cemetery.
