Joe Colebank, Sr., 90, passed away May 2, 2021.
Born in Morgantown, West Virginia, Joe had lived in the Mogadore/Tallmadge areas. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Joe retired in 1985 from the Ford Motor Company with 31 years of service. He was a member of Mogadore VFW, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Mogadore Moose, and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Ellen Colebank; twin sister, JoAnn Kennison; sisters, Margaret Kennison and Nancy Girard.
Joe is survived by his sons, Joe (Cheryl) Colebank of Mogadore and Dale Colebank of Indiana; step-daughters, Joyce Colebank of Alabama and Vicki Daughtery of Indiana; grandchildren, Danielle (Jason) Bartholomew, Heith Colebank, and Amanda (Scott) Miller; great grandchildren, Zoey, Savannah, Kenzington, Daniel, Ava, Wyatt, Alyssa, and Tali; and brother, Richard Colebank.
A special thanks to his care givers Doreen Knight, Mandy Moledor, and Joyce Anderson.
Visitation 5 until 8 p.m., Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Interment will be on 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Rittman. Procession to form at the funeral home and promptly leaving at 12 p.m.
Please join us as we celebrate the life of our beloved Joe. Dinner will be served at approximately 3 pm (after the funeral) at the Mogadore VFW located at 385 Randolph Road Mogadore, Ohio 44260.
