Joe Daguanno, 91, passed away February 16, 2017 surrounded by his children and grandchildren.  Joe was born in Akron, OH where he lived his entire life.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII.  He married Isabel Campanale in April 1950.  Joe worked at NRM Machinery retiring after many years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Frances Daguanno and his loving wife of 65 years, Isabel.  Joe is survived by his daughters, Mary Jo (Don) Desario, Francine (Frank) Spano and Bernadine DeRita; grandchildren, Ron (Becky), Kevin and David Nettles, Nicole (Tyler) Miller, Kristina (Jim) Ambrosio and Angela Spano, Tara (Ben) Myers and Michael DeRita; great-grandchildren, Blake and Logan Nettles, Gavin, Dominick and Alivia Miller.  Special thanks to Kelley Coppinger and Billie Campbell for their compassion and loving care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am Monday at St. Anthony Church, 83 Mosser Place Akron, OH 44310.  Burial will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.  Friends will be received from 3 to 6 pm Sunday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St. Akron.  Donations may be made to St. Anthony Church.
