Joe R. Foster

Joe R. Foster, 83, passed away January 23, 2016.

Born in Winchester, Tennessee, Joe lived in Tallmadge for most of his life.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Joe was a graduate of the University of Akron and retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.  He was a member of the Masons.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene; sister, Adine Lyons; and brother, Robert Foster.

Joe is survived by his sons, Scott Foster, Tim Foster, and Joe (Kathy) Foster; grandchildren, Emily, Ryan (Erin), Regina (Travis), Joe, and special friend, Betty.

Visitation will be 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield, OH  44406.
