John Morgan Hearty

John Morgan Hearty, 85, passed away August 5, 2024.

Born in Akron, John had lived in the Tallmadge area for most of his life. He was retired from Goodrich with 26 years of service.  John was an active member of St. John's Episcopal Church he was also a member of the Acapella Choir and president of the management company at the condos where he lived.  He enjoyed cooking, music, and coached and umpired little league.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda and sisters, Joyce Trawick and Jackie Ehlis

John is survived by his daughter, Amy Walker; sons, Jeff (Karen) Hearty, Scott (Sue) Hearty, and Jack Hearty; grandchildren, Alicia, Tammy, Melissa, and Tim; great grandchildren, Isaac, Olivia, Erickk, Maritza, Alex, Brady, and Sydney; and sister, Judy Gibson.

Funeral Service will be 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 2220 2nd St., Cuyahoga Falls with Father Brian Bechtel officiating.

Interment will be at St. John's Episcopal Church following the service.

Funeral Lunch to follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church or the Alzheimer Association.
