John D. Jones, 84, passed away September 4, 2018. He was born in Detroit, Mich. and resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life. John served in the U.S. Air Force and was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 40 years. He retired from the City of Cuyahoga Falls Water Department. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Neugebauer and stepson, Tom Mills. John is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Nancy; stepdaughters: Catherine (Joseph) Fasulko and Elizabeth Mills; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St. Akron with Father Joe Warner officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
