John "Jack" Lachance

Jack LaChance entered heaven on March 28, 2016 at the age of 85. He was a gentle soft spoken man with a passion for classical music and loved playing the violin. He was an accomplished violinist. He played with the Kent State Symphony as well as The University of Akron Symphony. Early in his life he served in the Navy with an honorable discharge. Later Jack was a barber and insurance agent for many years.

He is survived by his children, Diane, Brian, Gregory and Gary all residing in Arizona; siblings, Marilyn Talkington, Joan LaChance, Donald LaChance, Jerry (Sandy) LaChance; as well as many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to his friends in AA who supported him throughout the years.

Jack will be laid to rest at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

He will be dearly missed.
